SEMAT — Der Feuerlöschbehälter für Helikopter
Die SEMAT-Baureihe ist für die Bekämpfung von Brandherden aus der Luft entwickelt worden und wird überall dort eingesetzt, wo normale Rettungsfahrzeuge nicht mehr hinkommen. Alle SEMAT-Behälter funktionieren nach dem patentierten "Hubmantelprinzip", das sich seit mehr als 20 Jahren bewährt.
Zwei Funktionen stehen zum Entleeren zur Verfügung:
• Schnellabwurf: 3 Sek. Entleerzeit (Abwurfspalt: 160 mm)
• Sprühabwurf: 15-30 Sek. Sprühdauer (Abwurfspalt: 5–15 mm)
Die elektro-pneumatische Steuerung ist vollkommen autark vom Hubschrauber. Der pneumatische Energievorrat ist ausreichend für mehr als 150 Aktionen. Zum System gehört eine kabelgebundene Fernbedienung mit Restdruckanzeige.

The SEMAT range has been developed for fighting fire from the air. It is used wherever normal fire fighting rescue vehicles are not able to get there right in time. Every SEMAT works according to the patented "lifting case principle", which was invented and has proven itself for more than 20 years.
Two kind of dumping functions are possible:
• Quick dumping within just 3 sec. dump time (dump gap: 160 mm)
• Spray dumping with 15-30 sec. spray time (dump gap: 5–15 mm)
The electro-pneumatic control is completely self-sufficient from the helicopter power. The pneumatic energy supply can be used for more than 150 dumping actions. The system includes a wired remote control with residual pressure display.
